Hello, hello.
As I start to write, I want to say Happy New Year, everyone! —and then I realize January is already gone. How did that happen?? But muh New Year’s resolutions! I have them. I actually love writing them; it gives me such a great feeling of new beginnings. Do you write them? If so, I hope you’re doing great with yours this year! Remember, one step at a time.
A few things to share (and I apologize in advance for the bulleted list in my blog. I feel like it should be outlawed—bulleted lists don’t belong in romance space.)
- Seven Oars is now available on Kindle Unlimited. If you’re a subscriber, give it a read! For those of you not part of the Amazon ecosystem, paperbacks will soon be available elsewhere (B&N, Apple Books, KOBO), so please keep an eye out!
- A Seven Oars audiobook is in the making through Podium Publishing, which will also be available wide (not just Amazon). I’m super excited about that! If you didn’t already know, all the Rix Universe books are available as audiobooks, and I have a contract for Book 4 when it happens. So I guess I’ll have to write it… It won’t happen in 2026 since other projects are calling my name, but the plans are there. To stay true to form, the next book will feature a character from a previous book, but I still can’t decide who deserves the prime time. Slim pickings. 🤔
- I’m hard at work on my totally unrelated novel called Redux. It’s a working title, but when did I ever change my mind about those? (hint: never). It touches on the same familiar themes I’ve covered in my books before: unlikely pairing, slow-burn, emotional connection, etc, etc. There’s a mystery element in there. It’s melancholic but not dark, I promise. Will post another chapter soon.
